Visual artist. Born in 1996. Currently a PhD student at Academia Artium Humaniorum, the discipline of Fine Arts. Graduate of Media Art and Visual Education at WSzP, UMK in Toruń. Lives in Poznań and Włocławek. Prefers laughter, even through tears, to any form of submission. At the moment, she is mostly interested in magical thinking (understood as daily rituals and spontaneous teasing of fate in response to complete helplessness), instant substitutive solutions, and power relations in co-created works.
Through her artistic practice, she aims at overcoming problems that influence her directly, as a member of a collective. She finds most absorbing the live initiatives, related to an immediate presence of other people. For this reason, she often reverts to performative and intermedial practice. In order to make her works easily accessible and not overbearing for the viewer, she tries to use ordinary, familiar forms and meanings.
Artystka sztuk wizualnych. Urodzona w 1996 r. Doktorantka Academia Artium Humaniorum w dziedzinie sztuk plastycznych. Absolwentka Sztuki mediów i edukacji wizualnej na WSzP, UMK w Toruniu. Mieszka i pracuje w Poznaniu i Włocławku. Preferuje śmiech, choćby przez łzy w bezradności, ale wbrew uległości. Teraz najbardziej zajmują ją myślenie magiczne (jako codzienne rytuały i spontaniczne igranie z losem w ostatecznym odruchu bezradności), rozwiązania zastępcze instant i relacje władzy w pracach współtworzonych.
W swojej praktyce próbuje uporać się z problemami uwierającymi ją bezpośrednio, jako część grupy. Najciekawsze są dla niej działania nażywe, bezpośrednio powiązane z obecnością osób. Stąd często posługuje się medium performace lub rozwiązaniami intermedialnymi. Stara się korzystać z codziennych, dobrze opatrzonych form i znaczeń, dążąc do tego, żeby jej prace były przystępne, nieprzytłaczające w pobieżnym kontakcie.
Artista visual. Nasceu em 1996. Atualmente é aluna de Doutoramento em Belas-Artes, na Academia Artium Humaniorum. Licenciada em Estudos Visuais e dos Media na WSzP, UMK em Toruń. Vive em Poznań e Włocławek. Prefere o riso, mesmo que por entre lágrimas, a qualquer forma de submissão. Neste momento, está interessada no pensamento mágico (entendido como rituais diários e provocações espontâneas do destino em resposta ao completo desamparo), soluções substitutivas instantâneas e relações de poder em obras co-criadas.
Através da sua prática artística, busca a superação de problemas que a influenciam diretamente, como parte integrante de um todo, de um coletivo. Acha mais absorvente as iniciativas ao vivo, relacionadas com a presença imediata de outras pessoas. Por esta razão, frequentemente recorre à prática performativa e intermidiática. Para tornar as suas obras facilmente acessíveis e não arrogantes para o espectador, tenta usar formas e significados comuns e familiares.
