POR-POL NET

POR-POL NET is a Polish-Portuguese project dedicated to new forms of networking and the influence of Internet phenomena on contemporary artistic practices. It stems from a cooperation established between Academia Artium Humaniorum at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (PL) and the Centre for Comparative Studies at the University of Lisbon (PT), and aims at confronting the audiences with the most recent examples of works and ideas that illustrate generational and technologic shifts, the emergence of the so-called vernacular digital cultures, and the new concepts in literary theory, artivism, and curatorship.
